Our Mission

Anitoa is a young Silicon Valley (founded 2013) company that is developing technologies to detect, and help fight infectious pathogens in our body, food and environment. Anitoa created highly-integrated biosensors and systems for a new generation of portable molecular testing solutions that can identify infectious bacteria and virus DNA/RNA or anti-body responses with highly specific and actionable diagnostics information.

Our mission is to provide doctors and scientists a solution to perform rapid, precise diagnostics at point-of-care or on-site, instead of waiting for days and weeks to get the results from a centralized lab. Thus, they can respond quickly with life-saving treatments, such as targeted antibiotics for the patients; and slow the spread of drug-resistant diseases.

Our Team and Partners

Our team consists of engineers and scientists with experiences in electronics, software, optics, biochemistry and diagnostics. Many of our team members came from leading Silicon Valley biotech and IT companies such as STMicro, NXP, Agilent, Google, Tesla, and Novartis, with shared vision of making molecular testing more accessible and affordable.

We have also established partnerships with many universities and institutions such as Stanford Hospital, Zhejiang Nanosystems Institute (ZCNI) and the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, as well as Ruijing Hospital in Shanghai, P.R.China.

Manufacturing and Quality

Anitoa manufactures its assay and instrument products in Hangzhou, China and Fremont, California, USA. Anitoa is committed to providing quality products and services that meet our customer requirements. Our manufacturing facilities are fully compliant with the international industry standard and are certified to ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 13485:2016. Our dedication to quality and excellence is detailed in our quality policy. Many of our products are certified with EU and US standards for research and clinical use such as CE-IVD, CE-RED, FCC, US FDA Registration etc.
